Dr. Neil Duncan

Neil graduated from the University of Pretoria with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree in 1983. He started his career in poultry in 1986 heading up the Poultry Diagnostic Section of the Veterinary Faculty in South Africa, based at the Medical University of Southern Africa campus.

In 1996 Neil became the only double registered specialist with the South African Veterinary Council in the fields of Poultry Science and Veterinary Pathology.

He is a member of the American Association of Avian Pathologists and presents scientific papers regularly at their annual conventions in the US. He is an associate editor of Avian Pathology, one of the highest rated International Scientific Poultry Journals in the world.

His knowledge and experience in pathology across all veterinary species is unrivalled in Africa making him an asset to the C4 Africa team. He has a close working relationship with the State Veterinary Services has allowed him to provide his clients with appropriate and timely advice in matters governed by legislation. Apart from his background in diagnostics and pathology, Neil has extensive experience in management consulting.
